Handwriting and Presentation 

At Chatsworth we believe that developing strong handwriting and presentation skills lays the foundation for effective communication and creativity. From Nursery, we prioritise engaging activities that encourage fine motor development and proper grip, making writing a fun and enjoyable experience. Our nurturing environment fosters confidence, allowing children to explore different writing tools and techniques while focusing on letter formation and neatness. By integrating handwriting practice into our daily curriculum, we ensure that each child not only learns to write but also takes pride in their work, setting them up for success in their educational journey.

We use the Letterjoin handwriting scheme to deliver our daily handwriting lessons through a combination of traditional and digital resources. Additional information on the scheme can be found here.
