Inside

Chatsworth has a range of facilities to support teaching, learning and the wider school day.

We have one large school hall, which is used for PE, assemblies, concerts, performances and other whole-school activities. The hall has a projector, screen and sound system.

The hall is also used as our dining space. School lunches are cooked on site each day and served from the servery adjoining the hall.

Other indoor facilities include:

• A dedicated computer suite

• A school library

• Breakout spaces for each year group, used for small-group work and interventions

• A sensory room

• A dedicated counselling room

Forest School

We have a dedicated Forest School area within our school grounds, providing children with opportunities for outdoor learning and exploration in a natural environment.

The area is used for a range of Forest School activities, including exploring the natural environment, practical activities, problem-solving and collaborative learning.

Outside

We have one large playground which wraps around the school and provides different areas for play and outdoor activities.

Our outdoor facilities include:

• An all-weather AstroTurf area

• A ball court

• A climbing wall

• A climbing frame

• A dedicated Forest School area

• Separate, secure outdoor learning areas for Nursery and Reception

• Benches and tables

• A Friendship Bench

Facilities for Hire

Our school facilities are available to hire outside of school hours, including evenings and weekends.
